Deaf Fret is fundamentally supportive of authentic creatives and historically this has included singer-songwriters, poets and film-makers.
DECLAN, who is about to release his first ever recordings supported by Deaf Fret, would be a good example of a genuine singer-songwriter with a story to tell.
But, Ross Merrin, Director of Deaf Fret, has told a longer story in his debut novel and by definition stretches Deaf Fret’s reach into authors.
‘How Beats the Original Heart’ is part of his ‘Moments of Tiny Violence’ trilogy which is non-sequential.
The second to be written - although not ‘in order’ - is completed to its first edit and is provisionally titled ‘Echo Debt’.
